i am running 4.2 is there a specific drive i need to purchase to load isos? need to order a drive asap... thanks

just do a google search for "wii compatible harddrive"

buy a bare drive and an enclosure. i prefer 2.5" drives since they don't need external power and run off of one usb port.

i've only tested two enclosures: vantec nexstar CX 2.5" and AMS venus DS2 2.5". both have worked with all different IOS249 and a multitude of configurable usb loader versions.

as for the drive, i've only used western digital scorpio black.

I purchased a seagate 1tb 3.5 external from newegg... I didn't think about the 2.5 shouldve ordered one of those instead. I think those drives have higer rpm as well.
