Madden 11 asks me to update??

I have a softmodded wii 4.2 and I just got the madden 11 game and its asking me to update. is it safe to update or am I gonna have to do something special afterwards?

Updating will erase your softmods, so if you do update you'll either have to use NTSC-U Super Smash Bros Brawl or PAL LEGO Indiana Jones to re-softmod on 4.3. Updating can be bypassed by installing the game's required IOS, but no one at this point knows what it is, so you could either:

1) Update & then re-softmod
2) Find out what the IOS is using your PC, then installing it & bypassing the update completely. To do this, you must

1)Extract the following PC files to your computer:-
Wiiscrubber
IOS Patcher 1.1

2) Drag your chosen .iso onto the IOS Patcher .exe file and it will open and show you the IOS it uses to run.

3) Open the .iso in Wiiscrubber. Inside Partition 1 (update) click on sys, that should list all IOS on the disk, find which version for the IOS you found with IOS Patcher.

If you are in a region other than PAL or NTSC-U, the second option is best for you.

before doing ANYTHING, install IOS56, IOS58 and IOS80. use NUSD to download and pack into a wad, then install with wad manager.

then download priiloader and the hacks.cfg. install priiloader, and choose to block disc updates, and system updates if you want.
