Strange issue. Did my Wii with Larry's guide for 4.1u a few months ago and it works perfectly...all games are fine. Did my friends Wii using same guide a month ago and everything seemed to work including RB Beatles, until he tried Tiger & Madden & NHL tonight. He gets black screen and an error has occured message on those games. They work on mine although haven't tried his DVD's. He did not update to 4.2 and still has 4.1u (we checked to make sure), however did get the message about it (he was connected to the internet still). I did notice that when we did his, he has the nintendo channel which I did not get when I got 4.1. Other than that the Wii's should be the same. No clue what the issue is. Also installed the disc channel that Larry had up months ago too (but since took down).

Anyone have any idea what might be the issue? Search for the last 2 hours and couldn't find anyone with this problem. Wondering if I should just follow Larry's new guide or if that'll be in issue since it has the disc channel fix.
