The reason for this post is to let all the new wii Moders know how to make a non working "bakup" iso work. For the past day I've been strugling to make my new backups working in a hardware modded wii (wiiKeyII). In particular "Lego Rock Band". After some searching I've figured out how to make the latest backups work.
I wont go into too much detail of how to do it but I will list the steps I did to make it work.

I'm assuming that you already have a burnt copy of your "backup"

Things you will need:

1. A homebrew channel enabled wii (Google)
2. HomeBrew wii apps:
a.Gecko OS
b.Dop-IOS -- that is the correcty spelling if you're googling.

Now the fun part.
1.Launch "Gecko OS" from the HomeBrew Channel.
select load debuger(Yes) in the config menu.
This will give you some debug information as to why a game isn't
loading.
2. place your "back up" in the console and press launch game.
if the game works it will just launch it and you're good to go,
if it doesn't it will give you a message such as "IOS xx not on
disk ...".
Take down the number and exit out of Gecko OS.
3. Launch "Dop-IOS". This little utility will alow you to brows the
different IOS's that are on your system and also allow you to
download them from from Nintendo servers.(If your wii isnt
connected to the iNet then you will need to download the IOS
manualy from other sources and put it on the sd card).
3. Scroll to the the number that you wrote down and make sure that
that ISO is loaded on your system if it's not then you will need
to download it and install it. If The ISO is already installed
and your Backup still doesnt work then there must be some other
issue with your backup that is beyond the scope of this thred.

You will need to do your own googling if the terms and programs that I used are not familliar to you. Lucky theres Google and a place like the "wiibrew" site ;).

Hope this helps.
