Mario Kart Wii backup

I modded my Wii a few days ago and 2 of the 4 backups I tried work. They are all good backups. The one that I am trying to get to work is Mario Kart Wii. First of all, I have enclosed a list of ios's that DOP-Mii churned out. I don't know if you need that or not to help me. I have system menu 4.2u and a custom ios of 249 v14 as well. Homebrew channel works great. I have geckoos. No More Heroes 2 works fine. Mario Kart Wii loads up, but freezes at random points in the menu screen or during the black screen while it loads the next screen. I have only ever gotten as far as the black screen before the race starts. Some people have luck with all games. I'm sure there is something simple that I can do to resolve this. I have burned the game several times. I believe the iso is fine (at least before burned). Does anyone have any ideas? It would help me out a lot!

Suspect the Disc

If one backup is working - then the system is working well, so it must be either the iso or the disc or the way it was burnt to the disc

I feel like bad media/burn and bad iso/rip have been ruled out now. I do have the supposedly correct ios for the game too. There has to be another solution to this!
