Mario Party 8 USB Loader GX

I have two wiis. One I softmodded years ago and have made revisions through time and I use usb loader gx. Mario Party 8 works fine on my old one, no special settings using ios 222.

I have a new wii that I just softmodded following a guide and everything seems to work but this one game using the same settings I get a black screen and the controller disconnects.

I have googled around and this seems to be a common issue, but most of the answer are try a new rip your iso is bad. This is not the case bc I tried the same HD on both consoles and it works on one and not on the other.

Apparently I installed something that leads this game to work on one and Im missing it on the other. Anyone know what I need??

Update,

I have done several wiis, it seems this problem only occurs on the 4.2u or up firmware, I do not have this problem with older firmwares.

This is odd, any suggestions?
