hi there i am new to all this stuff and was wondering if you could tell me if i have all the software install can i play copied discs on my wii

If you follow a softmod guide correctly, you should be able to play backup games.

There are different softmod guides for different system firmware versions. To check your Wii's system firmware version, enter the settings menu from The Wii System Menu, & it will be displayed in the top-right corner of the screen.
