Hi I was wondering if anyone can help
When I try and run a copied games, especially a downloaded game that is 4.3gb in size, (not games such as PDC Darts 2009 which is only about 700mb before it is unzipped). When I place the game in the drive, the drive just seems to make a clunking sound and the game doesn't run. I have tried cleaning the drive head without much success. Any ideas?? Many thanks for your forthcoming answers.....

what type of media are you using

burning app imgburn burn speed 2x-6x media dvd-r brands sony memorex verbatim

This has just recently started with my games. I have tried using dvd-r and dvd+r's which I have used in the past without any problems. As I previously stated some of my games work and some don't. It usually says that the disk couldn't be read, even though it is fresh out of the burner. I have cleans the disk head with the wii cleaning disk, without much joy

i was having problems with dvd error (349) and i got a wii lens cleaner from play.com cost £5.99 and now works perfect again

yes it is working on some games such as PDC 2009 and Blom Blox (new game) (both these games when downloaded from priatebay are only 700mb) but if i try Overlord Dark Legend it just says on the disk menu 'unable to read disk' i take that disc out whack Blom BLox Bash Party it loades straight away.
I have a wii lens cleaner too

i do alot of 360 and xbox and ps2 drive repair....sometimes it is necessary to adjust a screw that determines the strength of the laser...sometimes that helps..
