I'm starting this thread because the search function did not come up with any of the answers, it is discussed the topic but not exactly what I want so here we go?
I bought the wii3.2E update it to 3.4E. Applied the Twilight mod and loaded the iso. After this I could play some of my backed up games but not all (error 002). I then jumped onto good old Afterdawn and you guys advised me to update the wii to 4.0E and the new iso at that stage (I think IOS36 v12.22) After that all was excellent, even some of my older bakups that would not play on 3.4E did play flawless on 4.0E. Now, lately I have been seeing more problems with newer backed up games not wanting to play, not giving the error 002 but just not loading.
Any idea what I can do, update again, to what? Is there a newer iso that is worth getting? Will newer updates completely stop the wii in playing backups? I have always got the best advise from you guys so I'm full of confidence that you guys can help me, any advise much appreciated guys.
My apologies, the games I have backed up now and trying to play is the NEW SUPER MARIO BROS. and MY SIMS, AGENTS. Both of these games are PAL, but I have to say with my backup Launcher I never had an issue with regions. There are some NTSC backed up games in my collection which plays flawless. On my wii I normally click on the Backup Launcher and then my TV screen goes black for about 5 seconds, then flickers a few green strips; goes black for about 10 seconds again and then the game starts. With these two backed up games it gets to the green flickering stage and then just gives a black screen on the TV. Basically I would like to now if I should use the wii internet channel and update my wii and also the iso, if there is new one? Or, will this screw everything up for me - e.g. no more loading of backed up games?
