im on a 4.1e softmod using usb loader gx, cios38 rev 13a, neogamma r6. my major problem is one usb port is damaged

right click save as and enlarge for closeup. another thread says the port needed for usb loader gx is the right most port when looking at the ports, and this just happens to be the damaged one. I can get my hdd recognised but only by unplug/plug several times, this is the same for neogamma r6. I have been reading up and trying to find a way round this, I cant use cios38 rev14 as then hdd wont mount at all, but i have read that after cios38rev12 only 1 port will work. So what would you all suggest, should i pay to have new ports fitted or should i install cios38 rev 10 and hope it solves the issue, but if i do will i have problems with games and will dvd backups still play?

How many times are you going to post this image and tell people about your damaged USB Port?

We have already told you what needs to be done. If you want to use cIOS12 or above then get the USB port fixed.
