Have my wii softmodded via larrys guide and have well over 150 games on my external and Im very excited :) I know that the wii Can play movies but its not worth it to me since it will burn down the laser faster, and I like my wii. I was wondering if there was software out there that will allow me to put dvds onto my external hard drive and then play it off the wii? Thanks :)

Ps.. Ideally.. I would love to learn that dvdfab is available for the wii lol

You can pretty much stream whatever is on your PC, I tried it with movies, but for tryin' it out, that is all that is available right now when it comes to watching media.
Or you could try the old SD card and view it in Photo Gallery, but there is a program that converts it so the Wii will read it and make it playable.

there is no iso loader on the wii. what you need to do is convert the dvd into .avi format and use mplayerCE.
