Hi all. I have been browsing these forums for days and still unable to burn a working disc. Let me start from the start.
I am in China and recently bought a Jap wii with Korean language (?). I can procure games easily enough but most are in Chinese (??). The retail copy of wii fit I got is Korean, so useless to me. I want to burn some english language games.
The wii is softchipped and has softchiploader r99, neo gamma channel, etc.
After browsing all the forums I have been burning discs by
a. downloading iso files
b. expandinf with unrar
c. running thru wiijunkies to change to jap version
d. burning with disk utility
The games will register on the system, and the image appears under disc channel, but I get the "read the manual" screen.
softchip loader will either show that screen, the more hardcore version (with free freeze state) or green screen, depending on the options I select.
The other loaders, NGC and some others, won't go past the "loading game" screen....
Frustration abounds. Luckily I can still play one or two english games I got with the thing, but really need more, esp. wii fit!!

First of all, try downloading PAL or USA NTSC Games. Burn them using disk utility. Don't change them using wiijunkies. Boot the wii since it is soft-modded it should play any region games. Use Backup Launcher Gamma change the settings to default boot language English, & also forcePAL or NTSC whatever region the game is.
