Need help backing up mario kart saves

I would like to copy my mario kart save on to a SD card but the only option it gives me is to erase the file. I am guessing if anyone knows how they are probally on this site.

Some game saves are locked and can not be transfered to a SD card (I know stupid on Nintendo's part).

However there is some homebrew apps that will bypass this restriction. Priiloader is 1 of them. They have a hack that allows you to bypass this limitation. Do a search on Priiloader (there is a Priiloader install guide in the Ultimate Sticky thread).

Is the guide for 4.2 firmware for 4.2u also or is there a different guide to follow? Also if I softmod can I still play online?
