Need help hooking up Wii

I just bought new furniture and had to plug the up again. My tv has a Radioshack Modulator (with the w,r,y, prongs) and I plugged the av cables of the wii into that and turn it on, and I am not getting any video or audio from the wii, also when I turn the wii on it makes the noise of an ejecting disc and inserting disc. Is that ok? What can I do when this happens? When my Xbox,PS2 are hooked up it's fine.
