I have my wii soft modded with this guide (http://www.wiihacks.com/recommended-faqs-guides-tutorials-only/24839-softmod-any-4-2-wii.html) (sorry don't want to get in trouble for linking just want to show how I did it) and each time I try to load ither New Super Mario Brothers or SMBG 2 I get the message

Init drive dvd err 1252 (for new super mario brothers) and 1178 for SMBG 2 unknown drive, report 200811218

I have updated the program as well

I have looked for three days all over the net for an answer and now I am lost so could someone please b4 I go even more crazy/nuts :)

well if its a new wii it might have the dvd drive that wont read backups. i would suggest using a usb loader anyways its simpler.
