hello I just got a soft modded wii i bought it in a garage sale it has a hard drive but no SD card and it has neogamma r9 beta 8 and homebrew channel but when i go into the home brew channel there is nothing in there. and when i open neogamma in order to play a game i have to go to wii options change a setting to 480p then back to menu then select usb then scroll through the games. no my problem is that i have a 4 year old and a 6 year old and they are unable to do that in order to play a game. My brotherinlaw has a softmoded wii and is running wiiflow witch looks nicer and is allot easier for the kids to use. Is there a way that i can remove neogamma and install wiiflow or any other program like it. Thanks for any info.

I believe you are going to be looking for Anytitle Deleter to remove Neogamma. Then you will need to chose one of the many USB loaders I like CFG Usbloader my self. There are a few variation with that as well. I like the Fat 32 ability of the 222mload option in CFG Usbloader. As for you HBC not having any there you need to add programs to a USB Drive or SD card. You could Download a program like the Homebrew browser from the Internet then launch it from the HBC and download many types of programs. I like to use HBB because it just feels safer. If it is listed in that program chances are its safe. The Wii Mode seen might feel overwhelming at first. Take it slow and only install what you think you need. If you try to get it all right away you will be scared away.

Also with CFG USB loader you can password protect many function of the program so a 4 year old can not change the settings. Finally Install Priiloader and make sure you block updates. This way there is less chance to mess things up that way. Finally Finally tell you kids if there is ever a message that pops up saying UPDATE to just shut down the system until you can see it.....

Yes I too did use Wiiflow because of the looks but CFG USBloader seems to have the best game support and as the name implies Very Configurable

I would use This one. It uses the Fat32 option.
Here you will also find the Channel Forwarders.
From the first link you will find all this and tutorials

Lastly this Loader can update from the Wii. I can not vouch for the others.

ok so what i need then to install the is a 2gig sd card and put it in the root folder when i format the sd to fat32 will it show a root folder in there i did read the the how to install on the link you sent me but do i need to change any of my wii setting to get this cfg loader to work after i delete neogamma like do i net to add a cios or anything like that. thanks again you have been a great help

I think you need to install the CIOS 222 with MLoad.
Do This. It is the linked Tutorial found the gbatemp sight. Follow the steps and don't skip any. You should be good to go.

Edit:
And befor you get to ramy with Mods you may wish to look into Bootmii and get a NAND Backup of your system. since this is an older system you might be lucky and be able to install as boot2. If not still get it and make a backup. This back up will be your first line of defence if you muck something up. I have used mine before but mainly because I went on my own and did not follow a guide.
