Hi ya all there!

I tried to search something about wiinja deluxe. Guess that's old hardware nobody installs anymore.

Yet I can't get new games working anymore. I used to burn with Imgburn, to philips 1-8x DVD-R's with a LG 'bout 5 years old dvd-writer. And everything worked fine.

Since I bought a new pc, and using windows 7, same DVD-R's and a new LG GH22NS40 ATA Device, games stopped working.

My wii is _old_, one of the first on the market. But still working fine. I have updated wiinja to the newest (#4) firmware. Also I have first ran updates from games and once few months ago all the updates wii wanted from the internet. I don't know if I should have done that or not.

The real problem with games is that they run, but give this error "The game disc can not be read" in the exact same spot every time. Happened in GH5, new mario and sonic winter games...
So does anyone happen to know if the problem is in the LG burner, the dvd's, or my wii. I haven't got the chance to try verbatim's dvds because i can't get one for just to try.

I appreciate all advise. Thanks

The game can not be read error in your case would more then likely be a backup issue. Either a bad ISO or bad media or bad burn. If it had to due with modchip update/wii system update/ios issue then you would more then likely get a black screen or 001/002 error.

hmm, this is something I also thought. I've tried with every kind of burning speeds. Also various ISO's. So that leaves only the dvd's might be bad. But it's so strange when they worked perfectly with old burner but not with the new. Guess I have to get the verbatims and try

What firmware are you on?

If your on 4.2 firmware make sure you have the proper region disc for your system.

Checked my firmware, it's 4.2E. But I have always used PAL-isos, so that shouldn't be the reason right?

rony1434, try posting your question in the correct forum as this is a wii forum in your own thread as hijacking another member's thread is a forum rule no no.
