I've seen a lot of threads relating to the new game trying to use burned copies of the game with no fixes. I use usbloader GX and neo gamma loader with no luck on either trying to get it to run from USB. i keep getting a black screen saying that "An error has occurred. Press the eject button, remove the Game Disc, and turn off the power to the console. Please read the Wii Operations Manual for further instructions"

I followed Larry's guide to softmod my wii.

on a side note: when you put in the game normally it does say that you need to perform a system update in order to play this game. but i'm sure that would try to update to 4.2 and brick the system so i'm hoping that some one has an idea?

thanks!

With plenty of failed attempts you will always know what not to do.

I, too, am having the exact same problem mentioned above. Note: I did let Wii update itself with no disasterous results. Original disc works perfectly however when I put my backed up game in, get the above message anywhere from immediately to 5 or 10 minutes into the game. Been to several boards with no fix found as of yet.

Will keep watching and post if I do find an answer.

TIA to all.
