Do I need to update or install anything to play it. I modded my Wii on version 4.2u and use the new Neo Gamma to play my games. Resident Evil: Darkside Chronicles, Madden 10, and Price is right all work fine. But I downloaded the new super mario brothers and it didnt work. It burned fine but who knows it may be a corrupt file. or maybe I do need to update something?

Did you patch the new super mario bros game with the correct main.dol file?

mine worked on neogamma r7 ios249 turn alternative dol on and you get a choice of main or game dol use game not main

i have neogamma r7 cios 249 rev 12

I ripped a retail copy of new super mario bros and when I start it in neo gamma is flashes a green screen and returns to the main menu. Any suggestions?

If you plan on burning the disc image onto a DVD and booting it that way, you can try the guide under my sig.

If your using the latest Neogamma 8 beta R15, just place the .wip-Patches in SD:/NeoGamma/ folder
Select 'Search for patches' in config and save your config

You can play NSMB backed up disc without any other patching.

any info on playing a backup of it using a D2pro and no soft mods? i am having trouble finding any info dealing with my setup.

Not that I know of yet for the mod chip. You can check out the posts here - link

But pretty sure the only way yet with the d2pro is with a softmod.
