New Wii and WiiKey Fusion..

Hi,
I have a new Wii and can only use WiiKey Fusion to play backed up games through SD Card..
But will a backed up game of an original one made with and LG GDR-8164B DVD drive, Rawdump 2.0 and WBFS work with WiiKey Fusion and SD Cards?

why did you even get the wiikey fusion? it's useless with new wiis.

softmodding will allow you to use usb loader and external hard drives or SD cards.

I have a black model Wii, why should it be useless?
It has just to play games with SD Card..
All softmodding guides seems too complicated and "nerded", I am not confident
to begin something... without knowing if I can damage a brand new console.
My son will never forgive me :-)

the guides are not complicated. they are extremely thorough, which make it seem complicated. you basically paid for something that you could have done for little to no cost, depending on the requirements.

and why does it have to be only SD card to load? loading from a external drive is better on performance and has much greater capacity.

also, the very first steps in softmodding is making sure you can recover if you brick.
