Hello I'm a wii newbie and have 2 questions. I purchased a Wode due to new chipset. Looking to use an external hd to play games. Can someone tell me approx. how much space a game takes to determine how big a hd to purchase. Secondly the best way to get games to external hd. Thanks

Game size depends on the game. Wii play is only about 90mb. Metroid Prime trilogy is almost 8 gigs.

As for how to put games onto the HD... I know how to do that for USB loaders. I dont know anyone who has bought a wode since a USB loader is a completely free alternative.

K thanks for the info. With the USB loader wouldn't you still need wii modded to read game?

You need to install the cIOS patches, which is the same process as softmodding the console. But aside from the external drive you don't need any hardware.
