Hey guys,

Sorry to act the newbie and come begging for help - i'm normally ace with this shit, but hitting some walls getting this hack.

My goal is to boot backups from an external hard drive, and also from dvd-r.

Here's my WII information :

I have a european WII - RVl-001 (model number) serial is LEH123.....

So far i've got the homebrew channel installed and can start bootmii via the homebrew channel home menu.
I've been toying around trying to install WAD manager 1.4 - in aim of installed bootloader 0.3 (assume this is all I need to boot them backups?).

I've been starting the WAD manager 1.4 from my SD card.
I have to choose which IOS version (tried the default IOS 36),

, but it keeps failing on me with "retrieving file list...ERROR! (ret = -1).

Any help much appreciated - thanks guys,

So i'm correct in assuming I'll be able to get wii backup games loading off the usb loader that are placed onto an external hard drive now? :)
