So I modded my Wii a few months ago using the guide built by Larry. For a new person on the scene, I found it rather easy, Thank You Larry. My question is, can I now delete the files from my SD Card or do I need to leave them on the card in the Wii? I have read conflicting reports. The reason I am asking is, in Wii Data Management, whenever I click on the SD Card, my machine freezes up. Thanks in advance for any help.

The guide actually tells you to format the SD card when your done.
The reason your Wii is freezing is because you got bannerbomb on there still. To get rid of this issue go to the SD Card root and go to the directory of private>wii>title> and if a folder named aktn is listed delete it.

I saw that in the guide, I thought I read it somewhere else that it had to stay on the card. I will do as you suggested and thank you!!

Do you think I would say to format the SD card if you wasn't supposed to?

Take it easy. You also said to try and find the information out for ourselves before posting a question. When I did, I found some other info that suggested I keep the files on the card. That is why I asked before I did anything. While I have your attention, while loading some games using the USB Loader my Wii freezes up, the screen turns black and a bunch of numbers come up, maybe some kind of codes? Is this normal, when this happens I just turn off the Wii and start again. Thanx.

Why would you need to find more information out when it is there in the guide and you said yourself you read it.
You take it easy and read the guide.
As to your other issue you told me to take it easy so I will. Hopefully someone else will come along and help you out.

Just asking Dick. Told you, when it happens I just reset the machine and keep going. Just thought you might know. For someone to go thru the trouble of making a guide, you sure are a dick when it comes to answering questions.

Good thing I backed up the file from my SD card on my computer. I formatted the card and low and behold my USB Loader stopped working. So much for following your instruction as the were written. Now piss off.

Good thing 99% of the members that use the guide can follow instructions properly.
When does it say to format the SD card? Before or after the linked USB loaders are referenced?
