I had a 4.1u soft modded wii and a couple weeks ago i played a back up of Gunblade NY & LA Machineguns Arcade Hits Pack. and after that, after i restarded the Wii, the tv showed that there was no video signal from the wii.
so i restarted it a few times, it eventually got signal back but it said that the memory was corrupted. so i went into bootmii and restored the nand memory and it worked fine again for about 2 days.
and now the wii won't even send the video signal for the past few days.
anyone have any idea on what to do? or should i just send this in to nintendo for them to fix?
Nintendo isnt going to fix your wii first of all. Unless you pay them 80 bucks. I know for a fact cause I sent in a wii with softmod, even with it removed they got this new device to detect softmod issues.
You should have restored the nand and then do a full format. Now there is an issue with video signal code all messed up which means either your wires are faulty, tv, etc. I would check the rest before doing anything else. Cleaning the wii insides might help as well especially where the cable connectors are. I have also heard overheating issues can cause faulty video.
everything works fine, until a disk is inserted. it then goes onto corrupting the memory/etc when it starts up.
it starts up fine without a disk in it, but as soon as a disk is inserted, the console freezes when it's on the homepage. it doesn't freeze when i'm in the disk channel (playing a real game or in neogamma playing a back-up) but it will freeze once i try to start up the game.
i personally think youve corrupted code somewhere so when its reading the disc it errors out on you. Every wii has a system reboot function. If i were you i would give it a try atleast or download a new nand from someone else and restore your wii.
hmm.... i heard that nands from different wiis doesn't work. and how i searched up the system reboot function but all of them turned up to the alltitledeleter and/or downgrade.
and if the code was corrupted, then why is my nand back-up also corrupted? ya... been trying to solve this for a week now....
Do you have priiloader installed? If so go into it and look at any hacks that may be enabled. Sometimes they can have hacks to freeze the Wii as a joke. Also there is allot of region free hacks that could possibly interfere with game loading if they are enabled.

hmm.... i don't got priiloader installed and the the region free hacks in neogamma shouldn't affect real games i have... and it's only a problem when there's a disc in the wii. i can play all the wii ware games fine.
