after i choose it and click start nothing happens. a little icon flashes for a few seconds then stops. i didnt put an apps folder in my sd card until after i did the soft mod because i just wanted to get the homebrew channel on the first then i was gonna worry about apps. so after i had the homebrew channel up i took my sd card out added an apps folder on it and put a brick breaker game on it and loaded up the homebrew channel and nothing happens what do i need to do thanks

You need to make sure your SD card is FAT32 formated, you also need to check that the apps are PPC coded so apps that were coded in the old way like most boot.elf apps most of those don't work unless there patched/updated to Boot.dol so in your sd card you need...

/apps/Brick_breaker/Boot.dol

included in the brick_breaker folder should be the following files metal.xml and icon.png as well as the boot.dol.

try to put the homebrew browser app on the sd card this app is really good for getting them correctly installed onto the SD card.
