### This guide is ripped from another user that removed his guide some time ago and will not be supported nor updated ###

for EUR and USA Wiis only not JAP or KOREAN

Will work on ANY Wii besides LU64+.

upgrade to 4.1E by nintendo servers
You will need these files/homebrews:
IOS35Downgrader
cIOS38_rev14 installer
IOS60Patche
Wadmanager 1.4 or 1.5
Neogamma r6
HackMii Installer change name on installer.elf to boot.elf
Banner Bomb

1. Place files in SD card as they should be placed (ie. in apps root etc.)

2. Install HBC by bannerbomb:
2.1 Remove sd card from wii
2.2 Go to WII SETTINGS>DATA MANAGEMENT>CHANNELS>SD CARD TAB
2.3 Accept message of "Nothing is inserted in the SD Card slot"
2.4 Sätt i SD kortet
2.5 "Load Boot dol/elf?" choose YES to get too HackMii installer.
2.6 Press 1 to continue past the warning screen
2.7 Continue
2.8 Install HBC
2.9 Continue after the success
2.10 Quit the installer

## Here i would install bootmii and make a nand backup ##

3. Downgrade IOS35 to be able to install cIOS:
3.1 Start Homebrew Channel and run DowngradeIOS35
3.2 choose "Downgrade IOS35" (skip patchmii and dvdx).
3.3 When done choose "EXIT" to get back to HBC
3.4 Start Wadmanager
3.5 Choose IOS 35, press A
3.6 Choose <Wii SD Slot> press A
3.7 Goto IOS35.WAD in list and press A
3.8 Choose <install wad> press A
3.9 press Home button to get back to HBC

4. Install cIOS38_rev14:
4.1 Start Homebrew Channel and run "cIOS38_rev14 Installer".
4.2 Choose IOS35 to use with installation
4.3 You can either install via:
a) network by pressing right once to get to networkinstallation
or
b) get IOS38-64-v3610.wad (google) and place in the root of the sd to be able to install as wad.
4.4 When installation is done you've should be returned to HBC

5. IOS60Patched and NeoGamma R6 (USB loader):
5.1 Run WAD Manager.
5.2 Choose which IOS version to use: <IOS249> press A.
5.3 Choose source device: <Wii SD Slot> press A.
5.4 Goto IOS60patched.wad and press A.
5.5 Choose: <install wad> press A.
5.6 After you've installed "IOS60patched" goto NeoGammaR6-NGBL.wad and press A.
5.7 Choose: <install wad> press A.
5.8 Press home to get back to HBC.

Done!

Alternatives;

mIOS for gamecube support

and

IOSDowngrader for trucha support
