OMG!?! Modding a 3.4U Wii Half Way?

Okay so i've done my homework and i've checked the threads they all either don't pertain to me or have broken links so i can't get the right files

I got a SD card instead of my HCSD card (first problem lol)

I have a Wii 3.4U

I've even got the homebrew channel (1.06) onto my Wii via the "Bannerbomb" i guess its called?

Now the problem is trying to get it to allow me to use the .wads by modify the cIOS and it won't go! I got it hooked up to a network and everything but when i go to update it it get all the way to the very end and then says error ref = -2011 or something like that?

Any help PLEASE! and THANK YOU!!!
