Hey guys, i've been out of the wii loop for a while. Anyways, 2 years ago or something I did the Twilight hack and installed some wads etc. Is there a new current way to easily accomplish this task without doing the twilight thing? I'm on 4.2U and have homebrew channel installed, with homebrew browser etc.

Sorry if this has been covered, I tried a quick search, but just one page etc.

If anyone could help etc, i would appreciate it.

Thanks in advance!

WAD Manager is the right way to go, although there is something I must warn you about: Never Un-install IOS WADs under 200.

Hey guys, well, I think i need some help here.

I've tried several times to install wadmanager with no success. I have been trying to run Trucha Bug Restore several times and that doesnt appear to be working (downgrade ios15 failed errors -1017 and -2011 etc). Since I've been messing around with it a little i decided to delete the HBC and try everything over again cleanly.

So now when trying to install HBC through hackmii installer, i get "No Vulnerable IOS" errors.

Wondering if I should just forget it and try with the twilight hack?

Should I try to update from my 4.2U to 4.3U? Then maybe downgrade? I dunno, kinda stuck here and dont want to permanently hurt the Wii....so far its still booting and running fine (other than now I have no HBC).

Thanks guys. Hoping for some positive feedback...

side note - all I want to be able to do with this HBC is install WADS (wiiVC)into their own channels. The rest of the funky apps/things you can do with Homebrew doesnt interest me at this time.

Well, after hours of frustration and reaching the end of the internet, my problems are solved. This site helped me out huge http://sites.google.com/site/completesg/hacking-guide/trucha

Had to run dop-mii something, restore some files, delete some stubs etc, then load an older version of HBC .06 etc.

IF anyone reading this needs some help feel free to let me know Ill do my best to help others.

Thanks everyone.
