PAL on NTSC Wiikey

Never tried it yet but I want to run a PAL game on my NTSC Wii (with orignal Wiikey installed and I think running 1.9s). AS long as I run the latest update via the internet (which I think its already updated) there should be no issue of bricking the wii correct? Or is there anything else I should do?

I never had a wiikey but I always thought they blocked game updates, or at least had an option to with the config disc.

Even if your on the latest update you still might be prompted for a game update with out of region disc.
