ok, im a noob. noobs ask questions. especially when noobs follow a step by step guide, and still encounter something that they do not understand and find no solution in the guide they ask for help. so if you are not going to help, maybe you should not answered my post. for those who are willing to help a noob out, thank you!
Don't get me wrong mate, I understand, and maybe someone will answer your specific question if they can. But the guide gives you the settings you need to have, you just have to make sure your settings on your Wii while you are modding it follow what is in the guide. I just modded my Wii about a month ago, so I am noob too. But I just follow exactly what the guide says, and have not had a problem.
There are a few homebrew apps that need this patch. That is why I said to choose yes. If you want more info on what patch nand permissions is used for then do a search.
Newbie or not it isn't up to us to spoon feed you everything. You should do some research and know what your installing before performing the guide. The information is out there if you just spent a little time looking.
it was my fault, sorry i misread and didn't know that i can change "no" to "yes" thought i did something wrong. tried to google it and still find nothing, that's why i post this question on forum. anyways thanks everyone, topic closed.
