So, before Mr Driller was released in the North American WiiWare store, I was able to sample the Japanese game. I totally loved it and fell in love with it, and was beyond extatic when I heard they brought it out in North America... and as great as it is that I can now read the menu, the voices used for some of the characters just aren't the same, so I was wondering, is there a program or anything out there that I can use to extract all the audios off the Japanese wad and patch them into the English one?

Your intent is a little ambitious. I don't think there is any patch or app for that matter that can do that.

I've seen people do it with iso's (there's an english Dragon Ball Z game with the Japanese Original Audios) so I just wondered if maybe the VC wads might be capable as well :)

It is theoretically feasible with ISOs because a tool such as the Wii Scrubber can extract the audio file and potentially replace it with another file of the same codec. However, I don't think a similar tool exists for WADs.
