Pikmin 2 PAL on NTSC-U console

Some of you might remember that I tried this game when it first came out for the wii and royally screwed up my wii.

Anyway, I decided to try it again (since nintendo just pushed back the US release of the game... again) and am still having trouble.

Brickblocked copies appear in the disk channel normally but give a black screen when I try to start them. Booting brickblocked or normal disks through gecko OS result in a green screen crash. That's with force-NTSC on or off.

My wii is fully updated to 4.1 and I can play every other game, so I don't think its a firmware issue.

So basically if anyone can suggest anything else for me to try I'd appreciate it.

Some games just do that when it is different region. Do you have composite or component hook up for the system?

Wii Sports Resort PAL gave green screen when forcing NTSC. But using component cables (480p) instead of the composite that comes with the system fixed the issue (no need to force and it booted with color).

I have the component cable, but I was starting to suspect that pikmin 2 might just be one of those games.

*sigh* I guess its back to waiting. I'm sure they'll release it here eventually.
