hi i have a 500gb hdd with films,prog ect,, is it possible to make a partition on it say 100gb for wii games to play on the wii or would i have to buy another hdd just for wii games i just want to get rid of my disks and still keep stuff on the hdd ?

Sure you can make a partition. Just make it and then follow the same instructions you would for the full drive, but but just on that partition.

You don't even need to partition the drive.

As long as the USB drive is formated FAT32 or NTFS you can load games from it.

If you want more info on how to do it then let me know. Also let me know what type of file system the USB drive is formated in.

Hey larrylje, just wanted to send a big thank you for your great guide: 4.2 Firmware Softmod Guide - All Systems Except For Korean
and the one I just completed:
Guide: Configurable USB Loader using FAT32 Partition (NO WBFS PARTITION NEEDED) it was a well written guide and easy to follow, but the best was to include all the tools needed, that is the way a guide is created!!! I was a bit concern that my external 1TB was not going to work because I put it together with a Rosewill HD enclosure, to my big surprise the drive works like a charm and its super fast!!!
