Hello i am here asking about gamecube backups working on a wii i have installed the mios v8 patch i tried 5 and 4 as well and all i get wen i boot up the backup game is the very start saying nintendo then a black screen if i wait a while it says an error has occured please read the gamecube instruction manual something like that it says i am using a DVD+R And i would like to know if it will work if i use any other formats i know dvd +r's do have a lot of trouble like my new super mario bros is on a dvd +r and wont install to my usb so i think it might be dvd +r's not compatible but if anyone can help me i would really appreciate it thanks

Use DVD-R media and burn at half the rated speed of the media using IMGBurn (Use verbatim oer tayio yuden media).

well actually i burned it using imgburn at 16x speed since the case said its max burning speed is 16x so i should burn it at 8x speed? on dvd-r/dvd-rw?

I said DVD-R media!

If I didn't type that then why would you think you could ise them. I said use DVD-R media. If you could use other types don't you think I would have said so?
