Hi all,

I promise I have read for the last 3 hours and am still really struggling.

I have softmodded my wii using the excellent 4.2 guide on this forum and am still waiting to try that out as I have a new wii and need to use the USB loader method (16gb on order)!

I am trying to get to grips with wad installer to put some retro games. I have downloaded v2.1 followed the instructions gone into homebrew but it gives the error "not a valid wii application". I have read that it might be because it was using .elf and not .dol files so tries renaming but failed again.

I downloaded wad manager v1.5 which is a .dol file and put that in the apps folder on my sd card but get nothing in HB????? Is that how you use it?

I probably thick but I'm very stuck. Can someone please tell me which wad installer to download then how to use it??!
