i understand that the hacks for 4.0U doesn't work i was wondering is there a way to edit the ini so it could be read in the preloader

Keep checking this site HERE. There is no 4.1 USA ini file yet but there is a PAL version of 4.1. So I am sure a 4.1 USA version will be updated soon on the site.
