I bought my Wii years ago from Singapore to bring to Australia. It sucked balls trying to play backup games that weren't scrubbed and bricked on the PC beforehand which basically was useless to me. And when trying to play original, legit games I was too worried about letting the game run it's update on my machine incase it bricked it.

Apparently after opening it, the chip I have installed is this piece of crap - http://www.gamemaster.com.au/products/pr...sid=5bd188bbef8

I'm thinking of removing the chip, so my question is if all I have to do is de-solder all the wiring connected to the modchip for it to go back to being a "Stock" Wii?

Thanks all.
