I want to play MW3 on the wii, I heard it required a change in the IOS of the wii (to IOS 250). I went out and downloaded a program that would link with the homebrew channel, and put it in the application folder of my wii SD. The program started up, and i was able to change the IOS to 250. When i launched neogamma it said that it was running on the 250 IOS but still the game did not work. It pretty much took me an entire day to find out how to set that entire IOS changing thing up, and i was pretty upset to find out my time was wasted. If anyone knows how to fix this: your help is very much appreciated.

Have you installed a valid 250 cios?

Google (Modmii) run this program on your pc, answer the questions (treat your wii as a virgin one)it will download everything you need (inc a guide) copy to an SD and follow the guide (from after the install of the homebrew chanel as you already have it)

This will install the 249 and 250 cios's that are most up to date.

Update neogamma to the latest version and try again.
