Hi all,

This has been a difficult road with Wii modding. I have a sunkey modded Wii and it also has neogamma launcher installed.

I have a game World at War 2 that does not launch when you just try to play the disc normally via the hard mod.

I used the Wii backup laucher and the game loaded and starts to play. Only problem is the screen is "jumpy" when the games starts.

I know there are config options but I do not understand them. Can anyone assist me in setting this game to play. I am in a PAL region.

I would really appreciate help on this as it is starting to drive me crazy.

thanks

Hi everyone
ive been searching for days now but i cannot find the answer to solve my problems... I've followed up larry's guide. But the wii is unable to play any games(I use DVD backups)except for Eledees ^^ I am stuck and i was hoping someone could help me. every game i try to start displays a black screen, or it sais cannot read disc, or it restarts the wii. Sorry for being vague here but I have been searching for days now, CAN'T get an answer. . . thanks in advance
I have firmware 4.0E, (wanted to go to 4.1 but had no time... I dont have wifi, however i did install cIOS38 rev14 and hermes 222) NEOgamma 7
If someone could help me i'd be most grateful

@ maxpaine1 the answer is yes, you can use neogamma to load games from an external HDD (according to the info I have read)

Instead of starting a new thread I thought I would just continue on with this one.

I live in a PAL region and have my Wii sunkey hardmodded and it has neogamma backup launcher installed. I got it done by a third party so I don't know if neogamma backup launcher comes with the hardmod.

I believe it allows me to play region free games. I obtained a NTSC (American) 'burnt' game and it played fine. I only have one concern and that is I was told by someone that I should not use NTSC games as it could ask me to update and then brick the Wii. This game did not ask to update and played fine. Does this mean I can use NTSC burnt games without any problems in the future?. Thanks in advance for replies. I am still getting my head around all this stuff about modding and it sure is confusing at times. :)

hi maxpayne1, im no expert but i know u can either ignore the update and and play ur games through neogamma no probs, also i think you can install somthing so that it doesnt ask for updates i think its called preloader (not %100 sure), i also know do not update with an out of region game coz that is what causes the brick... like i said freind, im no expert.

Right MaxPayne.... i am using a soft mod so i dont know if this helps 4 u but wot i know is tht u need 2 b using Neogamma 7 with Rev14 if u want all ur games 2 work.... try searching for a copy of tht & tht may solve ur problems?
& as 4 the other question u asked YES u can use neogamma 2 load through a Hard drive but i really recomend u try using USB Loader Gx instead its a 100% better & u can load it up through the homebrew or through the channels....so try tht out ether from an apps or a wad. Hope ive helped
