I am having an issue with 4.2u. I have a tutorial that I am following (wiihacks) and I'm on step 3 (restoring the bug into IOS36). tried to go the wifi route & it didn't work, so now I'm trying to do it via sd card. I'm getting the following message afer I say yes to hash check, ES identify, and nand perissions. "Error: Could not open file: sd:wad/IOS36-64-v3351.wad" need help with this asap. thanks...

That sounds like you are trying to a load faulty WAD for ios 36

Use google and replace your IOS 36 wad

ok im just gonna try to do it with wifi because iy seems to work alot better and easier.. now im in wad manager & my controller wont sync up with console..

i was in wad manager 1.5 when it froze. ive also went to cIOS38r17 installer & it froze there also... need help asap.. thanks

The guide I used issued all the wads were included, so I have never used the wifi method.

Restart your hacking method from the step after the homebrew chanel (I take it that this is still present?)

I'm using the wiihacks.com method. I still have the homebrew installed. I was on step 6 when it started doing the freezing thing. I even upgraded my wad manager a it still froze on me. do you have a different tutorial? tryna get dis figured out b4 next wk...

oh by the way on that tutorial frm wiihacks.com (4.2u) I was having problems with that also. I ran (step 5)(installing cIOS249-rev17) frm sd card & it said "mounting device, please wait...OK!" Then next it says "Reading IOS38-64-v3867.wad." then when it gets to the point where it says Installing custom IOS it says "Install ERROR! (ret = -1035)"... what does that mean?
