I must say I think I have finally got past all of the other issues I have faced with the ios installations. now I'm having problems with the priiloader (version 0.5). when I load priiloader & after I press (+) to install, here's the problem I am seeing. where I says password file it says file not found & settings file not found. I ignored it & went on to shutting off console & going to system menu hacks. when I select 'system menu' by pressing 'A' it takes me to startup screen. its not letting me into the system menu. if anyone can help me with this issue soon it will be deeply appreciated... thanks

if you read carefully, 0.5 has a major bug that can brick your wii.

http://wiibrew.org/wiki/Preloader/Priiloader


try to boot into priiloader and load homebrew channel. then uninstall 0.5 and install 0.4. and make sure you have the hacks.ini before you install.

otherwise, boot into bootmii and restore your NAND.

finally got it to wrk last nite thankfully... but how can priiloader 0.5 brick it & if I uninstall it I don't wanna mess things up by installing 0.4. but if you say its better off for me to install 0.4 I will try that.
