Question about a Virgin Wii 3.4u

Alrighty, so I have a Wii 3.4u that I just got. It's never had any softmods or mod chips installed. I have read over the forums but all the guides for systems this old are now taken down. My question is, would Bannerbomb work? I have very limited internet access so getting the Wii itself online is out of the question and I only have the internet on the laptop for a limited amount of time. I'm trying to avoid the Twilight hack unless it is a final option. If I have missed a guide that isn't taken down then I apologize and thanks in advance for any help.

Go buy New Super Mario Brother and use the disc to update to 4.2 . Then use bannerbomb .

Thanks for the update. After some web browsing I saw the Super Smash Bros. hack too. I have that game currently is that an option? I am just attempting to avoid buying anything I am not going to want or need. Thanks again for all your help folks.

Bannerbomb works on all system versions, just download version 1 instead of version 2.

I read that if you plan on updating you need to install patched ios60 . Otherwise you could brick a Wii . Do you know if thins is true 12137 ?

Well I'm not exactly sure but from most of reading it seems installing patched IOS60 will only brick your wii if you:

a) Install it after installing priiloader/preloader
b) Exit the HBC before installing the system menu
c) Uninstalling IOS60
