So I got the Wii Modded with the D2C key years ago,

But around the time that Wii-Motion + came out the system updated Making the chip almost useless (Can only play burnt 3'ed party games....Shitty games)

Is there some kind of an update for the chip?
Can I fuck with the new Games (ISO's) to play on the chip?

Or do I have to Soft-mod the Wii and use a USB-HDD in order to play these new Nintendo games - (Nsmb,DKC, MG2....)

My Wii is on the newest FW (4.3U I think?)

PS. I have TRIED to soft-mod my Wii and I just cant do it (or maybe the guides are to Complicated?) ... I would rather just burn the games to DVD and play

Depends on which D2C key you have. There were a couple, some upgradable, most not.

Some games may be patchable to play on the older modchip, but since softmodding is incredibility easy at this point (sent a guide to a friend with zero experience and she had it done in about a half hour) its not likely that anyone is going to bother making a patch.

So odds are that you're going to have to softmod to play the newer games. You don't need to use a USB loader though. Once you're softmodded you can launch games either through a USB loader or from a disk using a backup launcher like neogamma.

This is the guide I like to use http://gbatemp.net/index.php?showtopic=171901

So I'm using the guide you linked, And I get to the part (Beginning)
Where I have to put SSBB in my Wii
(I have this game, I dont have Lego indi - or Yu-Gi-OH)

now the Guide says to use the "Smash Stack - For US Wii owners on 4.3"
Theres just one problem...
The "43mod.zip" does not have the Smash Stack file on it!?
it only has the other 2 save files...

or at least my Wii is not seeing the Smash Stack file for some reason?

I put the game in (SSBB) - I go to the vault - its supposed to just go into the hack menu from here but nothing happens?

Any help?

Smash stack works a little differently than the other hack methods. There is more info about it here http://wiibrew.org/wiki/Smash_Stack

alright well thanks again for all your help,
but its just is not working.
(I'm using a burnt copy of SSBB "DVD9" - Maybe thats why it wont work?)

I'm going to have to find someone to do it for me, or if I see a retail copy of one of the games to do the soft mod i'll just buy it i guess.

You should be able to use a backup copy of the game. It doesn't have to be retail, as long as you can load it and play it.

Make sure you do not have any custom stages.

If your still having issues try using the Yu-Gi-OH 5D's Wheelie Breakers or Indiana Pwns hack (if you can get the retail or backup of them).
