I recently had a Wiikey soldered in my Wii along with Homebrew installed - all with 4.2u firmware. I wanted to remove all mods. I got guidance from a few nice people here and I unsoldered the Wiikey. That went well and everything seems to work fine. I removed Homebrew through the Data Management screen of the Wii.
Two problems ...
1) When I try to load the Shopping Channel it begins to load and then is just a white screen that says "moved". The actual channel seems to be missing. With no mods, how do I get it back?
2) I tried to run a "system update" it connects to the internet, begins the update and after about 30 seconds I get an error that reads "Error Code 32004 An error has occured. Unable to perform the Wii system update. Visit support.nintendo.com for assistance." I am visiting here first. I think this problem may be caused by me or could it be that there is no update? I think it would tell me if there was no update rather than an error message.
Any help is appreciated. I do still have the Homebrew, etc. saved on the SD card, but it is not in the Wii.
Thanks.

PriiLoader has probably blocked your wii from connecting to the internet..find some way to go to the options menu and turn the hack for it off and it should update

Like b1gh3ad said, if you have Priiloader installed, make sure your "Block Online updates" hack is turned off. If you don't have Priiloader, you very well may have an internet problem, here is the link to Nintendo's support site for this particular error:
http://www.nintendo.com/consumer/wfc/en_na/ds/results.jsp?error_code=32004&system=Wii&locale=en_US
You might want to try some of the suggestions listed here. If you're absolutely sure that your internet connection is strong, you can always update to 4.3 from a disc. Metroid: Other M has a 4.3 system firmware update, update off a copy of this game in your region (Updating off foreign games can cause a semi-brick), & it should bypass this error code & re-install the Wii Shop Channel.
After the update, if the Shop Channel is still missing, you can use The NUS Downloader to download it as a WAD onto your PC, then install it using Smash Stack & WAD Installer/Manager.

I do remember setting the Priiloader to block updates, but I have already removed all Homebrew. Should I reinstall it, make needed changes, and then uninstall?
My internet is strong ... 5 bars on 2 other wireless devices all in the same room with the Wii and the router.
Thanks for the help ...
Brian

No, if you're sure you un-installed it, don't re-install it. Just make sure that it's not still installed by trying to access the Priiloader Menu.
Try the internet update again, & if it doesn't work, just update off the Metroid Other M disc like I said before.

As far as I know the only way to uninstall Priiloader is to do a system update. So more then likely you do not have Priiloader uninstalled. Try booting Priiloader (by holding reset down while turning on the Wii System). This should launch you into Priiloader. Now go to settings and turn off the "block update" hacks.
If you installed Bootmii you also might want to make sure you launch the Hackmii installer and uninstall Bootmii. I would do this before updating.
After you make sure all softmod stuff is uninstalled do a system update. This should wipe out the rest of the custom IOS's and Priiloader.

Ok, Priiloader is installed. I went into the hack menu and and found "block disc updates" and changed that to disabled. I got the same error. Everything in the Priiloader main menu in uninstalled (Homebrew, Bootmii, etc.).
The internet connection test runs and connects with no problem. The Wii support site just says to check the internet connection.
Any other ideas

"Block disc update" is for blocking disc updates. There should be a "Block Online Updates" hack. Make sure you disable that in the Priiloader hacks settings.
