See the comment by icefire in the link below.

Once you restore your system, you might want to download and update using the most recent Hackmii installer; or you can update via the Homebrew Channel as this bug has now been fixed.

is this the hackmii installer v0.6 as I have done a new nand backup using this version and it still says it's not for my wii. I know how to fix it using hex editor but I was hoping I wouldn't have to do this any more.
Thanks

I have Bootmii Public Beta 4 myself which is included in Hackmii installer v0.6. I haven't produced a backup as of late using this version. However, I reckon the bug should've been squashed at Public Beta 3. I could be wrong...

Sorry corection... I have the 0.6 version. Surely they wouldn't go backwards with that bug fix?

I have backed up/restored my NAND numerous times today, and I have not encountered any problems.

might redo it when I get a chance and see. So are you saying that the nand.bin and the keys.bin are One file and you dont need to add the space to the keys.bin file and then join them. Because when I did it the other day there was no space between the console and ID in the keys.bin file for the backup to work. Hope this makes sence?

Honestly, I didn't even look. The restore process went through with no hiccups. I didn't have to make any changes at all.

Thanks I did the update when I loaded homebrew channel.
I was able to removed the homebrew channel and the bootmii from there.
