Should I get the Wii Rock Band Beatles

I got a bunch of gift cards and I want to get Rock band beatles, but I am not sure which version I should get. I already have Guitar Hero for my PS3, but of course I cannot make backups of the PS3 games.

If I get the Wii Rock Band, I am assuming I can make back ups, as I have my Wii modded with a wiikey. However, I would have to buy another guitar so I have 2 of them, but to me its cheaper to buy another guitar that to maybe have to buy another game disc should it get damaged.

So, my question is, are all of the Wii Rock Band discs able to be copied and played in my modded wii?

First off I woulnt even bother buying a modchip for your wii anymore when the softmods are just as good, I have had the wii since release and got a wiikey when they first came out and now I have my system softmodded as well because theres just allot more compadability.

And yes you can download ISO images of those games or if using external HD USB loader Gx will copy the game to the harddrive for you preventing you from ruining your original.

My Wii already has the wiikey in it, so thats already taken care of.

In terms of softmodding, I never even looked into that. I will do some research.

Looks like a LOT more work than just burning a copy. What is the advantage of going the soft mod route?

Emulators, etc. Also, you can run your backups via USB. No more discs = good.

By running off a USB, do yu save the files on your PC and then load whatever game you want to play onto a usb thumb drive?

Seriously, I am searching these posts (esp from Larryl) and it looks like it is very complicated (load this, load that, run this, check that, donload this file, open this link, etc....yadda yadda yadda )

Is it really that much better? Emulators, what is that? I just burn copies of my own games....
