I have softmodded my wii and it is working well, it us at 3.4. Is there a reason I should update my wii to 4.1? I have just updated to the soft mod using larrys guide.

LEAVE IT ALONE TRUST ME...... If anything learn how to downgrade to 3.2 but I would just leave it at that wish I did. and learn how to install bootmii it will save you if you mess up something.

Am I able to load games from a Hd if I leave it at 3.4? or do I need to update to use this feature?

the 4. whatever is mainly for sd card use so yes you are able
