I want to softmod my sister's wii which she is getting for Christmas.

I would like to make her's modded as similar to mine as possible so she can take the backups off my Hard Drive when she borrows my games.

Mine is a 4.1U and already modded. I am using configurable USB Loader.

Hers is a 4.3U and fresh out of the box.

I have two main questions:

1. I am waiting for her SD card to be delivered. Can I use mine if I save all my files off the card, mod hers and then copy my files onto the new card? I can't see any problem with this, but don't really want to take the risk, might just wait for delivery on Wednesday.

2. Will I have any problem copying files off my hard drive for her system or will I have to have her put the games on her hard drive one by one from disc?

If anyone has any insight which can help me with this process and make the two systems as similar as possible, I would love to hear it!

1) hacking procedure and files needed for a 4.3 are different so need to load those on - copying your files from card to pc then pc to card has no risk.

2) WBFS formatted drive use Wii backupmanager to clone / copy from 1 drive to the other
FAT/NTFS just use a PC to copy from one to another.
