Softmod on Virgin Wii, 4.1U FW?

I'm wondering if I can still use the Bannerbomb method on a virgin Wii, serial # isn't LU64 or 65, it's an older model, FW 4.1U? They updated it and it's at 4.1, and I've only ever done it on 4.0... is there anything different I'll have to do?

It has been confirmed a few times that the steps for 4.0 will work for 4.1 firmware as well.
