Softmodded and Rock Band guitar not being recognized

I have a softmod on my Wii and now Beatle's Rockband will not recognize my guitar...help! I have a modchip (D2C Pro I believe) that was taken out to perform a softmod for me to play the new SMB, but now I cannot get my guitar to be synced. The Beatle's rockband disk plays fine, but no guitar. Can someone help my guitar to gently weep? (Sorry for the cliche', but I am hoping that someone with some good experience will respond)
